VSP , Volontari Senior Professionali, was conceived in 1982, the UN International Year of the Elders, and formally founded in 1986. As all Italian CESES Member Organisations, VSP aims at demand driven assistance to small and medium-size enterprises. The roster comprises approx. 250 Senior Experts. More than 300 assignments in over 50 countries worldwide have been implemented so far. VSP's charter also specifically calls for fostering mutual relationship between equals in reciprocal understanding. Financing is based on con­tributions from beneficiaries, sponsors and nominal members' fees.
