SENA, Vlaamse Senioren voor Advies, Management, Engineering, was founded in 1987. Some 400 volunteers are available for assignments; 50 senior experts form the first basis to take these up. In addition, the sister-organisation VLASEM takes care of assignments from the regional Flemish Government and SENA can also draw on the expertise of Antwerp University. In recent years SENA has been quite active in CIS States and Mongolia. SENA maintains specific acitivities in the field of human resources, especially training of personnel, extending into placement and staffing.
