SECOT,
Seniors Españoles para la Cooperación Técnica, an
independent not-for-profit organisation, was founded in
1989 under the auspices of the Spanish industry. SECOT
provides voluntary advice to financially weak small and
medium size enterprises, as well as young entrepreneurs,
helping them to establish their operations and thus to
provide new jobs. SECOT also renders assistance to NGOs
and other not-for-profit organisations in need to
improve their management skills and techniques. SECOT
maintains a roster of 800 skilled Senior Experts with
life-time experience in all fields of the economy. So
far, 5000 domestic and 50 international assignments have
been implemented.
