KOS Mission Statement  

KOS is a development charity which works with volunteers to help disadvantaged people and economies in transition. Through its activities KOS volunteers support the creation of a citizen's society in Poland and abroad and act against marginalization and social exclusion.

KOS draws on the 14 years experience of British Executive Services Overseas in Poland and uses both Polish and British volunteer experts.

KOS seeks to continue the work of BESO in Poland and neighbouring countries.

KOS co-operates with other European volunteer expert services through its membership of CESES (Confederation of European Senior Expert Services).
