HSSA , Hellenic Senior Scientists Association, was founded in 1993 by a group of Greek scientists, mainly in the fields of education and organisation, deciding to pool their resources to the benefit of small enterprises and institutions in need of help, with specific emphasis on creation and development, as well as quality control. Activities also aim at co-operation with municipalities and public authorities. As with all other CESES Member Organisations, HSSA volunteers work without pay and take short term assignments only. HSSA is organised as a not-for-profit association, registered in Athens, and has at present 50 members, who pay a moderate annual contribution .
