DLS, Dansk Ledelses Service (in English: Danish Business Advisors), was founded in 1991 and since then has provided senior volunteer experts for assignments in Denmark and a range of other countries, in particular Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Any citizen or resident in Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, aged over 40 and with relevant work experience and skills, may apply to join. DLS receives no financial assistance from Danish government, central or local authorities, but is financed by members' fees and client contributions. The volunteers do not receive salaries. Clients are expected to meet all local costs, the cost of international travel and, where appropriate, pay a contribution to overheads. Main contact is T. Bagge.
