AGIR , Association Générale des Intervenants Retraités pourdes Actions Bénévoles de Coopération et de Développement, was founded in 1983 and has approx. 3000 Senior Experts in the register, who implement an annual volume of 500 international and 1000 national assignments. As all French Member Organisations of CESES, AGIR works from the principle of professional voluntary assistance to small and medium-size enterprises and institutions. The organisation has a highly decentralised structure: more than 40 delegations in all regions of France.
